After Anna and Sabina appeared on ITV and the BBC on Friday 26th May as part of Mental Health Awareness Week, we had a huge surge in Lockdown Legends sales.

There was so much interest in the colouring-in book that the volume of visitors crashed the NHS website shortly after Lockdown Legends appeared on ITV and BBC Central news programmes! We couldn’t be happier to announce that we’ve now raised more than £20k for our fantastic local NHS hospitals.

Over that weekend we sold an incredible 1400 Lockdown Legends colouring-in books, with some people buying multiple books per order! It certainly kept us busy getting those sent out to everyone who ordered – it even needed a dedicated Royal Mail van to come and collect them to keep up with demand.

We’ve already more than doubled the £10k target we set ourselves. It’s a truly fantastic project to be a part of – we’re so proud to have raised such a large amount of money for the NHS. And we’ve not finished yet!

Copies of Lockdown Legends are running out fast, so act quickly if you fancy your own copy! It costs £10 + £2.95 postage and is available to buy via PLOTT or through the Hospital Charity website. Or they can be picked up from Anna’s house in Sutton Coldfield, her office in Coleshill or Sabina’s house in Appleby Magna.

You’ll be doing something great for charity too – every penny raised from the sale of Lockdown Legends goes directly to University Hospitals Birmingham Charity’s NHS ‘Superheroes Fund’.

We’d like to say a huge thank you to our wonderful supporters who helped make this happen – Dawn Roberts at Headline Communications, David and Alison Heath at Positive Print, Claire Greenwood at G Comms, Matthew Cole at the Fuel Bank Foundation and the wonderful team at Cass Art Supplies.
